Take One Picture

Each year, all of our pupils take part in the Take One Picture Art project run by the National Gallery. Take One Picture is a national programme for primary schools, which aims to inspire a lifelong love of art and learning. Every year,  the National Gallery takes one picture from the collection to inspire cross-curricular work in primary classrooms.

Over the past two years, we have been very fortunate to work with a local artist to create collaborative class artwork alongside individual art. This is then exhibited in a whole school art exhibition to parents and our school community. 

The focus painting for this academic year is : Canaletto, 'A Regatta on the Grand Canal'

Pupils will create artwork based on this painting in July 2025.
